VALID TIME: 1200Z Tuesday March 17, 2015 (12UTC)

I chose Denver, Colorado (KDEN)

Was the forecast correct? Yes and no. I did later find out that I found a
stationary front rather than a cold front and the precipitation that I found and
predicted came and left a lot faster in the 48 hours than I thought which I
thought it was going to pass through Colorado right down the middle of the
state and which looked like a large precipitation mass and noticed that

I had some geostrophic or gradient winds after the 48 hours the wind stream pretty
much went through Utah and up right around Colorado and through Wyoming most
likely got the outskirts from the winds going around the state

and with my visible image there was some cloud coverage but was light and
really high

with my infrared image there was a lot of cold could tops at the higher
altitudes

my Doppler radar on the

other hand shows that there was a lot of light to moderate rain and snow in a
small area

for my current conditions for Denver, Denver international Airport (KDEN)
