Government of Pakistan Visa ciiiey Dead ue eae UL Ce Ce Ee eect el om em eet Expression of Interest (EOI) / Pre-Qualification for Selection of Software Consultants Pakistan Railways has initated a project for Restructuring & Up-gradation of Pakistan Railways Financial & Management infromation System (FIS/MIS Project) In this regard, Pakistan Railways intends to select consulting Fitms/Companies/JVs for customization, development, installation, operation and maintenance of the software for FIS / MIS Project. The major constituents of this system are: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventories/ Stores, Purchases, Accounts Receivable, Foreign Loans / Suppliers! Credit, Accounts Payable, HR & Payroll (including employee loans/advance and retirement benefits, etc), Costing (Rail operations, workshops, factories, projects), Budget, Integrations, ete. Relevant software and hardware design documents to automate these functions have been prepared and will be made available to the pre-qualified/shortlisted Firms/Companies/JVs along with Request for Proposals (RFP). Selection shall be made in accordance with the procedures set out in Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and the Public Procurement Regulations for Procurement of Consultancy Services Regulations, 2010. ‘The Project Management Unit, Minsitry of Railways, Government of Pakistan invites Companies, Firms / JVs to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to provide services as software consultans in accordance with the requirements of Pakistan Railways as required in EO/Pre-qualification Document. The EOVPre-qualification Document can be obtained from the office of Project Director, Project Management Unit, Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore, Pakistan on any working day within office working hours i.e. 0800 to 1500 hours, on or before 28-05-2015. The EOV/Pre-qualification Document is also available for downloading trom Pakistan Railways website \www.pakrall.com or Public Procurement Regulatory Authority website www. ppra.org.pk. Interested parties may obtain furhter information at the address given below during office working hours i.e. 0800 to 1500 hours on any working day before (7) days of last date of submission of EOI. Sealed envelopes of EOl/pre-qualifcation, duly marked FIS/MIS Project, must be dropped in the tender box placed in the Office of Accounts Officer /PMU Pakistan Railways HQ, Office Lahore on 30th May before 1200 hours. The bids will be opened on the same date at 1230 hours in the presence of bidders or their nominated representatives.
