Junior High Reflection

Junior High
I have decided that teaching junior high
level is a lot of fun.
The students are old enough to joke around
with you, but also old enough to know when
to work
This semester was a lot different than
observing in the 2nd grade class last
semester.

Teaching
I work in a math success program fro students who did
not pass the state math test and/or the arent passing
their regular math class.
It is a class of 5 to1 ratio and I am actually a teacher
to 5 students every period.
I feel that I have gained a better feel of what teaching
will be like when I become a teacher.
I had the opportunity this semester to take on greater
responsibility.

STARR Test
The STARR test is the state test that
causes a lot of stress for both the
students and the teachers.
Before the test, the students get
tired of preparing for it, and after the
test the students are wondering why
they still have to come to school.

 I feel that I have learned so much this year. I

have really enjoyed working with Mrs.
Deanna Ramsey. She has been a teacher for
25 years and is such a great example to learn
from.
I am more confident in becoming a teacher!
