Adhering to Deadlines

4/15/2015
The pressure to have quality work completed in minimal time is a
pressure that is felt by many employees. Within my GA position, I am
currently up against an e-learning construction deadline. The
presentation needs to be interactive, engaging, cohesive, and
informative. The information centers around benefits and benefit
packages that new employees need to pick. The information is tedious
and must be portrayed in a detailed manner.
The deadline for these e-learning modules is within the next
three months, so the turn around time is extremely short. The pressure
to produce a quality product within a short amount of time can be
stressful. What is the best compromise? Should all the modules be
completed, but not as interactive in nature? Should the modules be
extremely interactive, but not all of them be finished? Finding a
delicate balance between meeting a deadline and producing quality
work is hard to do.
