5 Year Goal

5-Year Goal
As my senior year comes to an end, I have prepared myself. I have prepared myself with a
plan. This I like to call the Mini-Life Plan because in my eyes time flies so fast, 5 years is so little
compared to my whole life. Therefore, I have prepared myself with a small plan after I graduate. I
graduate within 30 days from now. After I do so I will move out to Elk Grove with 5 of my soccer
teammates and attend Cosumnes Rivers College. There I will be a successful student and athlete for 2
years as I get my general education. After that I will attempt to transfer into Sac State where I will major
in nursing. That is an approximately 4-year process.
In this upcoming July, I will move from Merced to Elk Grove with 5 of my soccer teammates.
There we will ball out meaning that we will give it our all on and off the pitch. With the help and support
from parents, we will rent out a house. FAFSA will also play a huge role in my financial section of life.
With their aid, I should be able to pay my classes and books. Those classes will only compromise of
general education since it is a required objective before beginning our major. Meanwhile, on the pitch, I
will improve my skills each day of training. My goal is to play at a higher level. Also, it would not be so
bad winning the college league.
After those 2 years, I will attempt to transfer into Sac State. There I will be a student for 4 years
as I major in nursing. Also, I will work hard to become a priority athlete on and off the field. Part of this
plan is to time class right. In other words, I mean I must create a class schedule that will not interfere
with any of soccer training times. To add some more, travel time and games must be taken into

consideration. Last, I must allow myself enough time to get homework done and study for exams. It will
be require a lot of discipline from me along with acting responsibly. It will be a difficult task to
accustomed to since I am not a very studious person, I must admit. Nursing is a difficult course to major
in, but I am willing to sacrifice my time and money for better future. Not only is it my future, it is my kids
future also.
Graduation will be around the corner after 4 years attending Sac State. If all goes well, I shall
have a soccer championship ring or medal with my diploma. Nothing is going to prevent me from
accomplishing my goals as I have planned. By 2021, I will have walked this mini plan of mine that I
created as a senior on the merge to graduate at Merced High School. I will be successful.
