DAVID HOCKNEY COLLAGES

Digital Photography, Fall 2014

Our Project!
We will be creating
David Hockney
inspired Photo
Collages!
We will then use an
image transfer
process to create our
final pieces.

Taking Photos

Take 50 pictures of ANYTHING

YOU WANT!
You will select your favorite
photo
You will edit the photo 3 ways

For Example: one B&W, one

Normal, and one Heavy Contrast

You will then print 2 copies of

each of these photos

I will show you what to do in

class.

Creating our Collages

After printing your photos you will chop them up
into a million pieces.
Mixing and matching your different photos you will
reassemble your image.

Like

a puzzle! Putting together pieces of the three

different photos to make ONE.

We will then do an image transfer to create your

final piece.
