The 8th grade was a good experience for me because

I made a lot of friends, I got new and improved

teachers, and I did better on my school work. In 8 th
grade I had already had a lot of friends from the 7 th
grade but in the 8th I made a lot more. During the
beginning and middle of the school year all of my
work was starting to be easy because it was just a
review of everything from last year. I also got new
teachers. All of my teachers from this year are a lot
better than the ones from last year.
One of my weaknesses in writing would have to
be writing poetry. When I try to write poetry I can
never rhyme my words. Another one of my
weaknesses is that I can never tell different types of
poetry like haikus.
My strengths in writing is that when it comes to
writing something I have many ideas about what to
write about. Another one of my strengths in writing is
identifying different figurative languages. I can also
identify nouns, pronouns, verbs, etc.
In conclusion, this has been a good year so far.
Also my strengths in writing is different ideas and
identifying nouns, pronouns, verbs, etc. My
weaknesses is writing a poem and identifying the type
of poems.
