I would like to recommend Steven Bredberg for a position as a history teacher. I have worked
with Steven for five years as a colleague in the Socials Studies Department at Guyer High School
and have always found him to be a capable, intelligent teacher.
Steven and I began to work closely together when he moved into teaching Advanced Placement
World History courses, which I also teach. We have worked together to develop a course that
meets student needs and prepares them for the rigors of the AP World History exam and I have
always found him to be an energetic and enthusiastic instructor. Further, Steven have put in
many hours before and after school (often both in each day) tutoring students and providing
supplementary lectures to students who required additional help.
At every step of our time working together, I have found Steven to be creative in developing
student assignments as well as genuinely concerned about his students academic progress.
Stevens knowledge of history is impressive and has certainly contributed to my own knowledge
of history and improved me as a teacher. I believe that he will be an asset to your school.
