To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is to recommend Mrs. Karleigh Marceron for the position of a classroom teacher. Ms. Marceron was
my intern during the spring semester.
Ms. Marceron entered this position positive and ready to learn about being a teacher. She utilized many strategies
for instruction by incorporating a combination of whole and small group, student centered, cooperative based, and
individually based instructional activities. She took into consideration the needs of the students based on teacher
observation, classroom assessment data, F&P leveled data, and MAP assessment data. During instruction she incorporated
hand on learning activities, technology based instruction, and rigorous higher level problem solving. The students were
engaged and excited to learn.
Ms. Marceron was an effective planner who reflected daily on her lessons and teaching approaches. She dialogued
with other members of the 4th grade team to maintain a team approach to teaching. During the time she worked with our
team she gave input into scrolling, daily planning, creation of common assessments, and analyzing of data. Ms. Marceron
proved to be a very reliable and responsible team member. Ms. Marceron also attended regular staff meetings, county
level workshops, committee meetings, and grade level team meetings which shows her commitment towards being a
dedicated professional.
I would highly recommend Ms. Marceron for a teaching position in this county. She would be a valuable
addition to any teaching staff.
Should you have any specific questions please feel free to contact me at any time.
Sincerely,
Jill S. Waters
Grade 4 Team Leader
