    A student had attendance issues in the first semester which impacted their grades. The student met with their counselor and signed an Attendance Improvement Plan agreeing to have no more than 11 absences and ways to improve attendance in the second semester. If the student meets the requirements of the plan, their first semester grades would be reinstated and added to their transcript. However, the student did not return the signed plan/contract so the counselor is contacting the family to get a signature on the agreement.

    RE: Semester 1- Attendance Improvement Plan

    Hello,
    I met with _______ on 3/5/15 to discuss 1st semester attendance issues to get a
    better idea on how we can better support your child. He made an agreement to
    improve his attendance by signing an Attendance Improvement Plan for
    2nd Semester. __ made a commitment to; no more than 11 absences for
    2nd Semester and 3 to 4 ways he can plan to improve school attendance and
    success.
    The purpose of the plan was to address the attendance issue from 1 st Semester
    (academics and attendance), If ______ successfully meets the requirements, his
    1st semester grades will be reinstated, GPA will be adjusted, and the credits will be
    added to the transcript.
    Currently, _______ has not brought back his signed plan/contract. Do we need to get
    a copy of the agreement to you, so that we can get a signature?
