Overall Goal of Lesson: For students to proceed on with including their soccer skills in every facet of the game as
students work as a team.
Instructional Objectives: Students will develop physical fitness playing the game for each round. All the students will be
to understand how their skills previously worked on will help them take the place of finishing the game correctly. The
basic skills in kicking and dribbling will greatly improve as they learn in high tense game throughout.
Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS)
Key Vocabulary: Teamwork, soccer
1A-demonstrate an awareness of personal and general
space while moving at different directions and levels such
as high, medium, and low. 1K- Demonstrate competence
in manipulative skills in kick, and striking activities.
Higher Order Questions: What ways we can develop in teamwork during the game? What is your Quadriceps?
Student Activities: Warm up- Running WP- Students run around gym 2 times for 1 min. student then do stretches and
pushups and sit ups.
Lesson instruction and bone and muscle of the week.
Activity- Four corner soccer
Dismissal- Students line up by the door.

Anticipatory Activity for Lesson: Students will be doing the warm


exercise to prepare them for the activity.

Teacher Input/Lesson Activity: One goal in each corner of the gym, opposite angles are the same team. You
can score in either of your two goals at opposite corners of gym. 3 to 4 balls are in play at a time. Work
passing and working together to score spreading out, team work goalie skills.

Modeling: Teacher will give instruction before activity.

Guided Practice: During the game teacher will give student further instruction if needed.
Independent Practice: Students will be able to participate fully without intruction
Lesson Closure: Student will be asked high order learning questions?
Assessment Methods/Strategies: All student must fully participate in the game.

Resources (supplies, equipment, software, etc.): 4 goals, 4 balls, vests.
