My time in the IB program has also aided in my writing abilities. For the past two
years, I have been working on my Extended Essayresearch essay required by IB in
which students demonstrate their ability to research and pioneer ideas in a certain topic
that is important to them. My chosen topic was the effect of the arts on the adolescent
mind in terms of self-identification and formation of personal philosophy. It is now
completed and satisfies the requirements of IB.
I have taken five years of higher level Spanish classes and am capable of sustained
conversation.
I am adept in working with Microsofts Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as Apples
Pages, Numbers and Keynote. I have created numerous presentations in Powerpoint
and Keynote as well as the third party Prezi.
