Discussion Topics

We discussed the first two chapters of

Making Thinking Visible. We also
discussed the 6 key principles to making
thinking visible, such as the importance of
classroom culture.

In Person

We discussed the importance of

questioning. We developed our own
"Cycle of Thinking" which describes how
asking good questions gives students the
opportunity to think deeper and ask more
questions. We discussed some of the
strategies in chapters 3 and 4. We
brainstormed about how we could
incorporate some of the strategies into our
lesson plans for our units.
