JFK and His Affairs
It may seem shocking that the lovable, kind, and caring John F. Kennedy ever once
cheated on his beloved wife Jackie Kennedy, but truth be told he sure did. What seems to be the
most shocking is the amount of affairs he had and the face that his wife, Jackie, knew about all of
the affairs and was still always by his side. There was even said to be an incident when she found
a pair of underwear in her pillow case and told Kennedy to find who they belonged to because
they were not her size.
There were countless mistresses, one-night-stands, and on the side relationships between
Kennedy and young and beautiful woman. His behavior always had the secret service worried
that he would become a victim of espionage and blackmail. Also they had major concerns that
the women he surrounded himself with were spies or put Kennedy in some unknown danger.
Many of the agents that were in charge of Kennedys safety said that the women were of
questionable character, worrisome, and reckless to the extreme.
There was one man who always knew what affairs and women Kennedy had in his life,
FBI director, J. Edgar Hoover. Whenever he learned of information that one of Kennedys affairs
had suspicions of spying or any kind of mafia ties he would send Bobby, Kennedys brother, to
talk with Kennedy and then get rid of the girl or problem. Besides Kennedy getting bored or
losing feelings for one of the women, Hoover was the main reason a number of affairs ended.
Now there are rumors that many more affairs took place with Kennedy but only a select
couple have been confirmed to be true. One of them is that Kennedy had affairs with a number of

the White house secretaries that he would call Fiddle or Faddle. Another was with Judith
Campbell Exner, who had ties to the Rosellis mafia clan. This affair ended in May of 1962 with
information passed down from Hoover to Bobby to Kennedy that she was a mobster. Then there
was the affair with Ellen Rometsch, a young German girl. She was later deported for allegations
that she was a spy. The next one was with his wifes press secretary, Pamela Turnure. Kennedy
had convinced his wife to hire her even though she had no experience and had never worked in a
press position. This affair lasted for three years.
The most famous of affairs Kennedy had was between him and Marilyn Monroe. It all
started when she sang happy birthday to him. After that she was seen at different events that were
either held for or by the president. They had spent one weekend together in Palm Springs and
that is where it pretty much ended. For Kennedy he was done with her, but for Ms. Monroe she
became obsessed and called the White house frequently. She even would tell anyone that would
listen of her affair with the president of the United States. In the end Kennedy, to some people,
was a good and reliable president who did his best and died to soon. But when it came to his
relationship with his wife and women, it was anything but good and reliable.
