In my professional observations of Katie's classroom performance, she excelled in demonstrated skills and applied effort. Her planning and preparation for high schoo! level English classes was comprehensive, creative and oriented toward skills mastery. Katie's learning activities stressed learner involvement and mastery of specific student competencies. Her assessment of learner skills reflected teacher questioning and performance outcomes, confirming her students’ grasp of content and process taught. She established an excellent rapport with her students and maintained an effective student management plan that insured an orderly and controlled classroom environment. Katie's interpersonal manner is warm and outgoing, while her efficacy and influence over the conduct and academic output of students is effective and accountable. Students demonstrate an abiding respect for and receptivity to Katie. In return, Katie demonstrates respect, rigor, support and a caring attitude for her students.
