Dear Mr. Blackburn,


I am writing on behalf of E. F. Baden in relation to your recent complaint. I was very concerned
to learn about the problems you experienced and the unprofessional conduct of our sales staff.
Please accept my sincere apologies for everything that happened, and thank you for bringing it
to my attention. You have my assurance that I will resolve the matter to your satisfaction. We will
send the items immediately, at our expense, and I will personally make sure that the order is
correct.
To compensate for the inconvenience caused, we will also send you a credit note to be used
against any items in our catalogue. I have already spoken to the sales staff involved regarding
the incident and we are making sure that in the future all customer complaints are dealt with in a
professional and helpful manner.
Once again, I hope you will accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused, and also point
out that this type of fault rarely occurs in the E. F. Baden.
I very much hope you will continue to use our services in the future, and I assure you there will
be no reason to take legal action against us. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to
