What We Did:
We played file folder games and read books. I told the

We read the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears by
James Marshall. After finishing the book, we completed
a story map that included beginning, middle, and end.
The boys really enjoyed the story. We talked about some

the rules that Goldilocks broke. They were really
receptive and promised never to go into a strangers

This was the last time that we met with the Pirate Pals.
We were told to enjoy our last meeting with our kids. I

They each chose a story to read and they laughed at the

and Adolfo. We talked through the
answers and the boys decided what
their answers should be. This is my
handwriting on the sheet.

not do this with the students, this was done on a different day. The
students needed a lot of scaffolding to write their original stories.
