The students learned about the different kinds of symbols that represent our
country. I had the students learn about five different symbols that represent
this fact. The five symbols that I had chosen was the American Flag, California
Flag, Statue of Liberty, United States of America, American Bald Eagle.

California Flag

Students learned about the California Flag and

what it represents to our State.

Directed Lesson:

Telling the students on what were are learning

for this lesson. Specifically telling them that we
are learning about the California Flag.
