It is a privilege and honor to write a letter of recommendation for Steven Ellis, a teacher
assistant in my physical education class.
I have known Steven since the beginning of his freshmen year at Merced High School. As
an assistant teacher, Steven is a hard worker, responsible, mature, and extremely well
mannered. He is always eager to participate and help students out with any school work
or life issues, he is always a great role model, and he is very respectful to his teacher and
peers. As a mentor he earned the respect and admiration of the students in the class with
his positive and caring attitude.
In observing Steven over the year I have witnessed him grow into a young man. His
friendly personality and the respect he has for others are qualities that make him such a
unique and wonderful person. Steven has demonstrated excellent leadership skills in my
class and at Merced High School.
Steven Ellis strengths are many but her greatest attribute is that he is a young man of
strong character. He understands and values the principles of commitment, loyalty, and
hard work. It is a privilege to have him in my class, and I know that he will excel in
whatever he may do in the future. I have no doubt that he will strive to be successful in
