Alvarez and Community Demand a Better Budget

for San Diegans
The City Can Do Better
Who: Councilmember David Alvarez and Community Members
What: At Mondays 6PM Council Meeting, there will be a public hearing
and City Council discussion on the Mayors Proposed Fiscal Year 2016
Budget. As he has stated throughout the year, Councilmember Alvarez will
urge the Mayor to prioritize the needs of communities throughout San
Diego.

Alvarez is the Councilmember for the Eighth Council District of the City of San Diego, which
includes the northern communities of Barrio Logan, Grant Hill, Logan Heights, Memorial,
Sherman Heights, Stockton and the southern communities of San Ysidro, Otay Mesa East and
West, Ocean View Hills, Nestor, Egger Highlands and the Tijuana River Valley. He is currently
the chair of the City Councils Committee on the Environment.
