PROJECT:

LIVING ORGANISM
1.- The group will be formed by4 students (there are two group sout of 3 in two of the
classes).
2.- Team Roles:
a.- Qualitychecker and time keeper: he/she will coordinate the work and will
research on the topic. He/she controls the time.
b.-Resource manager: gathers and returns the resources and materials.
Responsible for pictures as well.
c.-Facilitator: Write sthe poster and keeps things moving.
d.- Teamrepresentative: Represents the team at emergency meetings and
presents the project .
3.- The team will have 4 weeks to look for information and two science sessions to
prepare/finish the poster in the classroom.
4.- Th epresentations are due on June the 17th. Before that day, groups will have two
sessions to work together in the classroom( on June 9,10 and 11th).Presentations will
take place on the 18th.
5.- Every student will recieve a rubricsheet to assess his/hers mates work and will be
assessed by the mates, the teacher and even the assistan tteacher.
6.- The project will have any format: a song, a poster, a video, a children book, a lesson
for students, a theater play or any oher format.
6.- The evaluation will assess thequality of the project as well as the neatness and
content. The presentation will be assessed as well. Students eill assess their own role in
the team.
7.- Finally, the posters will be set on the walls of 102 and 114classrooms.
