I was surprised with how differently the different people in my life see me, and it
made me realize how different I must be around them. My friend described me as
outgoing, while an adult family-friend described me as shy. I think that I am
outgoing once I get to know somebody really well, and we are very close, but Im
pretty shy until then. I wasnt surprised about any of the areas I could improve
on, because the ones mentioned have always been my weaknesses, and Ive
been trying to improve at them for a long time. Its difficult to altar a part of your
personality even when you work hard at it. It was interesting to see how different
people perceive you, and how my personality shifts when Im around different
people. It seems like I am the most outgoing and casual around my family and
friends, but Im more reserved and shy around adults, teachers, and people I
dont know very well.
