theman,inthedistanceyoucanseenumeroushomelesspeopleinneedofwarmth,
womenholdingsignsupexpressingtheirneedforfoodandwater,andkidsonthe

clearlyyourdefinitionisnotcorrect.TheRighttoHealthsimplymeanstheeconomic,social
andculturalrighttoauniversalminimumstandardofhealthtowhichallindividualsare
entitled.
NowthatwevebrusheduponthedefinitionofRighttoHealth,Iwillexplain

whereyouwentwronginyourextremelybiasandoffensivepiece.

ForstartersyoustatedthatRussiaiscurrentlythriving.Thatmoreandmorepeople
arereturningbacktoRussiadespitetherecentfightingbetweenthemselvesandthe
Ukraine.Howeverthisisnotthecase.Thecrisisissoseverethattheterm
disappearingpopulationhasbeenappliedtoRussiaduetoahighdeathrate,lowbirth
rate,andlowlifeexpectancyamongitspeople.Howcanyoupossiblybelieveour
countryisthrivingwhenhundredsofinnocentciviliansaredying?

SecondlyyousuggestedinyoureditorialthatRussiansaremorelikelytolivelonger
thanmostpeopleintheworld.ThisisjustabsurdbecauseRussiaspopulationis
decliningby700,000peopleperyearduetopoorhealthandeconomicconditions.The
lifeexpectancyinRussiais59yearsformalesand72yearsforwomen.Youalsowere
reluctanttosaythatRussiahasthehighestrateofinfectioninEurope.Thehighdrug
useinRussiacausedtherapidspreadofHIV/AIDS.InsteadofportrayingthatRussiais
abeautifulpeacefilledplacewhydontyouwriteabouttheactualproblemsgoingon
here.
