The tamper seal on the last replacement console was not replaced. Warranty was voided because the console was tampered with. When I contacted customer service I was repeatedly redirected from different departments.

I have had the misfortune of having five Xbox 360 consoles suffer from hardware failure requiring replacement. Unfortunately, the tamper seal on the last replacement console was not replaced which has resulted in my warranty being voided. There is no need to remove the cosmetic cover on the front of the console, so I didnt notice that the tamper seal was not intact when I received it. It was not known to me until this console failed and was sent in for repair. I was shocked to find that my console was promptly returned, unfixed, and accompanied by a letter stating that my warranty had been voided for tampering with the console. When I contacted customer service I was repeatedly redirected from different departments. Finally, when I managed to reach someone in the repair department, the man was curt and unwilling to hear my explanation. He refused to forward me to his manager. Please remedy this situation by sending me a replacement console, free of charge, with the remainder of my original warranty reinstated, so that I can continue enjoying my Xbox. Sincerely, Elliot Hutchinson Elliot Hutchinson
