To Whom It May Concern:
With a fostered passion for sign language interpreting and a desire to contribute to an
enriching communication exchange, my interest is to become a sign language tutor and it is a
pleasure for me to submit my resume for your review.
As stated upon my resume, I have attended and been an integral facilitator of
communication in a variety of meetings, classes, and laboratories in various universities with
terminology ranging from medical to geographical to psychological as just several examples.
There have been numerous occasions where I have been involved in extracurricular interpreting
events as well, such as Deaf socials, conferences, and workshops. In addition to being a
motivated worker, learner, and team member driven by both personal and professional ethical
codes, I sincerely enjoy working with students and children and have always been able to
mediate and handle interpersonal demands sensibly. Every situation within the field of sign
language interpreting and teaching various students entails a differing set of skills and I look
forward to employing my abilities with motivation and an open mind while adhering to
professional values and respecting the welfare of each individual involved.
This position would be regarded as a wonderful opportunity for me to utilize my faculties
to their greatest extent as well as encourage me to continue mastering my skills while providing
the best sign language knowledge I have gained thus far. Thank you for your time in reviewing
my resume.
Sincerely,
Kallie Machan
