LVMPD Requesting the Publics Assistance in

Locating Shooting Suspect
On May 5th, 2015 at approximately 1:52 a.m., LVMPD officers were dispatched to the
1300 block of Hassell Avenue to investigate reports of gunshots in the area. Officers
arrived and located a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside of a
residence. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma were he remains in critical
condition.
The preliminary investigation initiated by the LVMPD Violent Crimes Section indicated
an unknown suspect fired several rounds in the direction of a residence. The suspect
then got into a gray four door sedan and left the area accompanied by a large white
SUV. The victim did not have any prior contact with the suspect and was shot through a
wall while inside of the residence.
The LVMPD is asking for the publics assistance in identifying the two vehicles and

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information
about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect or vehicles is urged to contact the
