PRINCETON HIGH
SCHOOL

I have worked at Princeton High School for two years as a

substitute teacher.
I have spent most of my time with Secondary grades. (9-12)
Through my field experience I, was able to observe and take in
how the students interact with their real teacher, instead of
being the teacher.
I have a new respect for teachers and respect the ones that
dedicated to preparing young men and women for an educated
teacher.

BUILDING
RELATIONSHIPS
EDUCATION
!
Teachers need
to build great relationships
with their students.
In my experience I have known teachers
that are parents themselves have stronger
relationship with their students.
During my field experience, I built student
relationships by interacting and giving
them respect through conversations .
When students think a teacher is not
above them, they can relate will open a
line of communication.(They need to know
you care and not just there for a pay check.

STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO USE THEIR
PHONES IN CLASSES ALONG WITH LAPTOPS.
OUTCOME-I HAVE SEEN MANY STUDENTS
DISTRACTED BY THEIR PHONES, NOT
DOING WORK, CALLING PARENTS AT ALL
TIMES, AND CHEATING WITH PICTURES.

Educational Quote
Education is our
passport to the future, for
tomorrow belongs to the
people who prepare for it
Today.
