Analyzing Component 1 Data

On component 1 I asked a sample population varies questions on

tipping. However, if I could add to it I would do an observational
experiment and observe what customers at my work, Crave Kitchen
and Bar on average tip and expand this and observe different locations
to see if theres a correlation between El Paso regions and tipping.
I would do a case study where the null hypothesis would be
There is equality in tipping when it comes to different areas. My
alternative hypothesis would be There is not equality in tipping when
it comes to different areas. If my test results suggested that the data
did not provide convincing evidence for the alternative hypothesis,
then Id stick with the null hypothesis. If test results did, then I would
reject the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative.
Looking back at what I did, I shouldve done a survey asking
where the participant lived and then answer the question. I would not
change my topic but I would change the way I did in component 1 of
my portfolio. It was interesting to see peoples answers however and

see the standard deviation for answers to be 1.18 in participants

likelihood to tip.
