Dear Sir or Madam:
My name is, Chrissy Pazin, and I am writing this Character
Reference letter for Deshawn Peterson.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Deshawn for over 4 years. I
first met this young man when my son played on the same AAU
Basketball traveling team.
I have had the opportunity to get to know Deshawn on a personal
level and he has gone through some tough breaks and has always
made the best of a heartbreaking situation with a smile on his
face. What I mean by tough breaks is two years in a row while
playing football (his sophomore and junior year) he broke his leg
at the end of the season and wasnt able to play the sport hes
most passionate about, which is basketball. Deshawns work
ethic on the court, once he was able to play basketball again,
always amazed me and he always worked well with his
teammates and his coaches.
Deshawn has two younger brothers who really look up to him and
hes a very good role model to them. I believe he has taught his
brothers though his own actions to never give up no matter what
comes your way in life. I think Deshawn has a bright future ahead
of him in college and beyond.
