It is a privilege and honor to write a letter of recommendation for Deshawn Peterson, a
student and basketball player in my athletic class and high school basketball program.
I have known Deshawn since the beginning of his freshmen year at Merced High School.
As a student and basketball player, Deshawn is a hard worker, responsible, mature, and
extremely well mannered. He is always eager to participate and help players out with any
school work or life issues, he is a leader and respectful to his coaches and peers.
In observing Deshawn over the year I have witnessed him grow into a young man. His
friendly personality and the leadership skills are qualities that make him such a unique
and wonderful person. Deshawn has demonstrated excellent leadership skills in my
athletic class and at Merced High School.
Deshawn Peterson strengths are many but her greatest attribute is that he is a young man
of strong character. He understands and values the principles of commitment, loyalty, and
hard work. It is a privilege to have him in my athletic class and basketball program, and I
know that he will excel in whatever he may do in the future. I have no doubt that he will
