Dear Mrs. Cannon,
I am writing to you because I have heard of your job opening in your law firm. I am applying to
eagerly fill the position as your new office assistant. I received this news recently from Judge
Emery.
From a previous job at the Hollywood Wax Museum, as a cashier, I learned the importance of
customer service and how to properly handle upset customers. On top of basic skills I have also
completed several business law classes; Business Law 1 and 2, Legal Admin 1 and 2. I have
hands on work experience in law as well. Just this past year I was an intern for the preceding
Judge Melissa Emery. In this internship I put my knowledge of law to work. I have learned all of
the steps and processes necessary to be a successful office assistant taught to me by your dearest
friend.
