Takoma Park Earth Day

Every year on April 22, individuals and organizations celebrate environmental protection on the
anniversary of what many consider the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. This
year, Allied joined this celebration by participating in Takoma Park Earth Day.
More than 50 vendors gathered to showcase their eco-friendly
products and innovations. Allied distributed promotional items for
Disneys MONKEY KINGDOM, which is the eighth installment of
the Disneynature series. The promotional items included activity
books and one sheets. Families either took home activity books with
them or completed the activities at the Allied table.
For more information on the process of participating in Takoma
Park Earth Day, please contact Emily Teichner.
