Giver Chapters 6-12

In chapters 6-12, the 1st day of the ceremony, Jonas watches the Namings, the
Fives, Sixes, the Sevens, and the Eights. The next day, the ceremony of Nines, Tens,
Elevens, and then finally, the ceremony of twelve. He listens closely, but doesnt
hear his number! Later, the Elder says Jonas was selected to be the receiver. Jonas
does what the instructions say, and goes to the Annex room. Jonas gets the memory
of snow and then a memory of sunshine. He likes them, but then the Giver gives him a
memory of sunburn. It hurts. The next day, Jonas gets to see his first color. Red.
Finally, he gets to see a rainbow.
