1. What were the significant learning points of this activity?
I have taught several classes at Delaware Tech in the Nursing
Department. I taught all three of the Medical Surgical Courses to
the Practical Nursing Cohort for several years and Medical
Surgical I, II and III to the Associate Degree Nurses. I have also
taught Leadership and developed the NUR111 Course for the
Belize study abroad course and taught it two years.
I have previous teaching experience as an adjunct instructor with
the Nurse Practitioner Program at Wilmington University and
taught the Women Health and Politics section at University of
Delaware.
2. Which leadership characteristics was/were enhanced or learned
through this activity? Explain.
I have achieved the leadership characteristic #9 Has teaching

experience at the College (excludes teaching experience at other

colleges).
