Summer art classes are being offered at North Central High School Art Room on Tuesdays for two age groups. For 6th-10th graders, classes will be from 10am-Noon on June 23rd and 30th working on clay slab elephants and independent projects. For 11th grade to adults, classes from 6-8pm on the same dates will focus on creative coil pots. Additional classes on July 21st and 28th and August 4th will teach various visual art techniques for both age groups such as decorated Haitian flags, mixed media self-portraits, modern silhouettes, and abstract Kandinsky-style paintings.
