COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Situation - My role as the President of the ACBT student council I needed high level of
communication skills.
Task
- In order to fulfill my responsibility as the president communicating of necessary
information to the members of the student council, management of ACBT, committee of the
student council and the students of ACBT.
Action
- It consists of leading the student council organizing events and coordinate
activities with the management.
Result
- All events being successful, and students wanting me to be the president for the
second semester as well.

ABILITY TO WORK IN A TEAM

Situation - My role as the president of the Hanthana youth club I was given a team to work
with and organize activities in the housing scheme.
Task

Action

Submission of 4 assignments within 3 weeks time.

Action
- Planning and allocating time to complete all tasks of the assignment according to
the assignment criteria.

ABILITY TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMER ISSUES

Situation

- As the assistant manager of water techo engineering

Task

- Handling customer issues regarding the kolongahawaththa water project

Action
- coordination of information with the employees and the customer regarding
break downs and meeting the deadline.
Result
- Project being successful as the customer is satisfied and more projects from the
same customer were awarded.
