Kebaya is the traditional dress of Indonesian women, made of thin, embroidered fabrics like brocade, tulle, silk or satin decorated with floral patterns, lace, and beads. Kebayas are worn with a long skirt or other traditional garments and accentuate the feminine form with curved stitching. There are two styles of kebaya in Indonesia - the simple classical style typically worn by grandmothers, and the more modern style that is more commonly worn today.
