MAY/JUNE NEWSLETTER

We are now in the final stretch of this school year. We can hardly believe it is
less than three weeks until school is out. The next few weeks are extremely
busy with a lot of important dates. Please pay close attention to the
calendar below. Our school will have EOGs this week. Please make sure
your children are present each day and arrive on time. Roaring Tiger Mania,
formally Tigerthon, will take place on Friday, May 22nd, during each
classrooms encore time. They will continue to accept donations thru Friday.
Each student that donates money will be awarded a special treat. There will
be NO SCHOOL May 25th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. The
school is also asking everyone to continue to bring in Box Tops, bottle lids
from Coke products and Campbell Soup Labels for Education. The contest for
aluminum can collection will wrap up on Friday. The grade level winners will
be announced shortly thereafter. Stay tuned for an announcement on the
extra field trip winners. Any collections/donations made after Friday can be
counted towards our funds for next year. Thank you all for your
participation. We will be having our classroom awards ceremony and end of
the year celebration on June 2nd at 1:30 pm. If you will be attending please
make us aware so that we will have enough snacks for everyone. Closer to
that date we will be sending home what each student needs to bring to
contribute to the party. School-wide field day will take place June 3 rd.
Please send your child a change of clothes and towel for that day. Our last
day of school will be June 5th and it will be an early dismissal at 12:30 pm.
Please make pick-up/bus arrangements for your child and make us aware of
what you have decided. Thank you!
