playinthelearningandteachingofmathematics?(Trytobespecificaspossible).
Inmyownexperienceintheclassroom,whentechnologyiseffectivelyimplementedinthe
classroom,itplaysacriticalroleinadvancingtheteaching/understandingofmathematicsfor
students.
Technologyhelpsimprovecommunicationwithstudentsandparentsoutsidetheclassroom
throughemailandinteractivetoolslikeweebly.Teacherscanreverseclassroomsby
distributingteachingvideostostudentsashomework.Inmyexperience,improving
communicationleadstobiggerjumpsintheadvancementofstudentsintheclassroom(andhelps
ustobuildconnectionsandunderstandstudentsbetter).
Technologyalsoallowsustointroducemorefun,interaction,andcontextintomath
problems.Forexample,IcanhavestudentsbuildspinnersinGSPtodiscoverexperimentalvs.

ofthecompetitivenatureofstudentsandenhanceslearning.
