Coaching Students

Tell your story of self in 3 minutes


Give students time to brainstorm
Decide how much time each students has and let

them know. No more than 2-3 minutes if necessary.


Ask if anybody wants to volunteer to tell their story.

Coaching Students

Ask everybody to share their stories


Encourage group to debrief each others stories.
Choose one story to be told as group story. Help that

person with their story.


Group representative tells story. No more than 3
minutes.

Coaching Students Tips


You do not have to follow the procedure explained

above. Run the group as necessary


If student is hesitant to share story, begin by asking
simple questions about family, school, what their
hobbies are, what they want to do when they grow up
Make sure they understand what they tell you will
be confidential
