On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at approximately 1227 hrs, Precinct 4 Officers responded to 1459
Jacksonian Plaza regarding a bank robbery. Upon arrival it was learned that an unidentified
black female robbed the Regions Bank at this location.
During the course of the investigation it was learned that the suspect entered into the Regions
Bank and handed the Teller a note demanding money. The female was given at that time an
undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.
After canvassing the area, Officers used witness descriptions and apprehended the female
walking near the Ventura Car Wash on I-55 Frontage Road. The female at that time was
identified as Latina M. Younger. Officers also recovered the stolen money.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations will conduct this investigation.
