Create a poster or powerpoint that highlights your interests and a career related to your interests:
1. Interest Profiler results
2. Similarities in your Interest Profiler results and your 5 Questions packet
3. Job Title, About the Job and What They Do
4. Interest Family and Work Values
5. Things They Need to Know
6. Things They Need to Be Able to Do
7. Common Majors and Education/Preparation Required
8. MyNextMove (Additional information from www.mynextmove.org)
Directions:
Go to www.cacareerzone.org and click on Assess Yourself
Click on Interest Profiler then go to Start a new Interest Profiler and click Go.
Read the instructions, take the quiz, and print your results.
Then select a job from your Interest Profiler results and print out the details of the job.
Using bullets 1 through 8, create a powerpoint or poster using the Interest Profiler & Job results.
If you are creating a powerpoint be creative and DO NOT exceed 8 slides.
If you are creating a poster be creative and NEAT with how you display the information.
Both powerpoints and posters need graphics/clipart/or pictures.
**Tip: For the 5 Questions packet, think about what interests were the most important to you, or what
seemed to be the most interesting to possibly turn into a career. Then look for similarities between your
answers and your Interest Profiler results.
