400 B.C. The Catapult

The catapult was mostly made for throwing
heavy rocks at a forts/castle, creating a
entrance for other arms to attack.

firearms begin, in china a couple of
guys were messing around with

sulfur, charcoal, and saltpeter and
were dumb enough to set it on fire
and boom the created gunpowder set
themselves on fire. And the started

using it to fire rocks out of tubes and
over time created the cannon.

Revolutionary war.
And the reason why was because it could take out 15 men
in a straight line, just like the infantry formation at the time.

The Parrott gun was the all purpose


heavy iron artillery used in the Civil
War. And with the rifling it had made it
the most powerful and accurate cannon
on the battlefield, the must have

The Mark 12 was a U.S. Navy ship gun


during WWI, and the Mark 12 was
