Phase 1: The Wind Up

We will not be discussing this phase in depth due


to the fact that we are concentrating on the
shoulder, arm, and wrist biomechanics

This phase is composed mostly of leg and hip


biomechanics, however it is necessary to mention
because it is part of the whole process

5 Points to Watch

Point One: Loop arm to 180 degrees

Point Two: Shoulder/elbow at ninety degree L formation

Point Three: Turn wrist out during L formation

Point Four: Fully extend arm forward during acceleration

Point Five: Crossing shoulder across body during follow through
