SUBJ: Letter of Expectation
4. The issues involving your interactions with employees reviewed by the recent Administrative
Board of Investigation (ABI), in which you were the subject of the investigation, revealed the
allegations were not substantiated
2. This letter is intended to make clear to you my expectations of you regarding these
interactions. Because your working relationships are crucial to the successful accomplishment
of the mission here at tho Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS), the following
are assignments of work.
a. You should always deal with people/patients with courtesy and civility
b. You should always avold undignified or discourteous conduct which could negatively
impact on the ability of the GCVHCS to successfully complete the mission of taking care of the
veterans,
. You should never make disparaging or demeaning personal remarks to patients,
veterans, visitors, and employees.
4. You should treat all patients, veterans, visitors, and employees with respect.
3, You should consider this letter as an assignment of work. If you don't understand what is
expected from you in any of the above, you should let me know immediately so | can clarity the
matter. Otherwise, you are to consider this letter effective upon your receipt of it, | expect you
to bring to my immediate aifention, any incident in which you are involved that may impact
adversely ofthe goals and requirements stated in this letter.
