The Puritans were very serious about their values and what they value. I say this because they
value stuff like religion and truth and they live their whole lives in the word of God so when it
comes to their values of religion they take it very seriously. They also value stuff like friendship
and community which is important when settling into a new place. This is serious because in
order to have a prosperous town you should have community between the people.
