June 19-21, Fri.-Sun.-Church Camping Weekend at Spruce Lake Retreat.
Campsites and rooms may be available, you can contact them at 800-822-7505 or
www.sprucelake.org. If you are not a camper and dont have the stuff, you
could try a room, or you would likely be able to borrow a tent, or possibly even a
camper from someone at church, just ask around. If camping doesnt seem
appealing, you still might enjoy joining the group for a day. The weekend is largely
unscheduled, simply enjoying the outdoors and the many other things Spruce Lake
has to offer. We have a group meal Saturday evening, and participate in the worship
service on Sunday morning.
June 20, Sat.-Everyone is invited to join in a meal together at Spruce Lake Retreat
at 5:30pm. Paper supplies, drinks, condiments, and a fire for roasting hot dogs will
be provided. You are encouraged to bring hot dogs and rolls, and a hot and a cold
dish. Games for the children will follow the meal.
June 21, Sun.-There will be no worship service here due to the Spruce Lake Church
Camping Weekend.
