    Kara's Hope Foundation is holding a blood drive on June 6, 2015 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at William Floyd Middle School in Moriches, NY in memory of Kara Williams. Two lucky donors will receive gift cards for donating blood. To donate, individuals must be between 16-75 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and have a valid ID. Long Island needs over 800 pints of blood daily to meet hospital needs, yet only 2% of Long Islanders donate compared to 5% nationwide, so donors are encouraged to give the gift that can save three lives.

    * Must have valid ID


    * Minimum weight 110lbs
    * Between 16 (with parental permission) -75 years of age

    Did you knowonly 2% of Long Islanders donate blood compared with 5% nationwide. Over 800 pints of
    blood are needed EVERY DAY to meet the needs of patients in over 50 Long Island hospitals. You have a
    gift that could save 3 lives with one donation. Please share that gift and DONATE BLOOD!
