Pop It Up

Background:
We have learned some basic information about pop-up cards. You now have the
opportunity to practice what you have learned by making a pop-up card for any school subject or
occasion.

Challenge:
You are to design and make a pop-up card for any school subject or occasion of your
choice. The card should have a pop-up and a lever operated moving part. The card should
include some written information related to its purpose. Your card should be neat and colorful
and fit inside an 8 by 10 inch envelope. You will present your card to the class.

Criteria:
Your card must:
have at least one pop-up
have one moving part and a lever must make the part move
include written information related to its purpose
fit inside an 8x10 envelope
be neat and colorful

construction paper
scrap paper
craft sticks
glue
paper fasteners (brads)
envelope
