longer, Dina has decided to take on a parttime job at a
software company that hires English-speaking students on a
part-time basis. She is talking to one of the employees, il
signor Marchi, whom she just met.]

How long have you been working here?

Marchi

Due anni, e tu?

Two years, and you?

Dina

Ho cominciato la settimana scorsa.

I began last week.

Marchi

Ti piace lavorare qui?

Do you like working here?

Dina

S, mi piace molto. la prima volta che

lavoro per una ditta dinformatica.
Yes, I like it a lot. Its the first time that I work for
a computer firm.

Conosci Marco Pisani che lavora al secondo

piano?
Do you know Marco Pisani who works on the
second floor?
Dina

No, ma ho conosciuto alcune persone al

terzo, al quarto, al quinto, al sesto e al
settimo piano ieri.

fifth, sixth, and seventh floors yesterday.

S, ma non conosco ancora nessuno l. Allora

andiamo a prendere un caff a
mezzogiorno?
Yes, but I dont know anyone there yet. So, shall
we go and get a coffee at noon?
